Oh, Great. Now it’s Online, Too…

The advertising trades all have posts about new estimates for online advertising, based on a study by IDC Interactive. Bottom line: even online advertising is expected to plunge in the current recession. Mediapost quotes the forthcoming study as completely slashing its growth estimate of 10% for 2009, replacing it with an estimated 5% drop in online ad revenues for the first quarter. And it says the online market may well get worse in the second quarter.
