If You’re Worried About Health Insurance (and who isn’t?)
You might check out the relaunched Artists’ Health Insurance Resources Center. AHIRC is part of the Actor’s Fund, which helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment, regardless of category. The Fund provides social services and emergency assistance, health services and health insurance information, employment and training programs and housing support for those who are in need, crisis or transition.
It’s one of our favorite charities, and does lots of good work, AHIRC included.
