Betty White Spectacular at SAG Awards
For those who’ve worked with her it was probably little surprise… Betty White was just wonderful – funny, genuine and gracious – as she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 16th Annual fete. I was too busy cheering to jot down the exact line, but it was a great moment as she said something to the effect of “I’m only 88, I have a lot more to do.”
Wow.
I worked with her on Ally McBeal, Malcolm in the Middle and several other shows, she is an absolute joy to be around, so great to see her still being the best in the room!! Ms. Betty White, you are loved!
What a redundant article title! Betty White has always been spectacular!
What a classy night. Our president did us proud. Smart, effective, strong and statesmanlike.
A far cry from last year’s aging slob who still thinks he’s a teenager with grey palor and greasy hair. What a difference an election makes.
I missed her speech while dealing with an emergency…thne found it on YouTube. Here’s the link for those like me who missed her gracious and funny speech.

Best SAG Awards show ever.
Glad they got a mention of “The Pet Set” in there, as I remember it pretty well. . . but it seems to me either the reruns stayed in syndication for some years, or she had another pet segment in a different show as well, because just one year of seeing Betty doing pet segments in TV shows in the 70′s doesn’t seem to match my memory.
Thanks for the link above but SAG had it taken down because of copyright.
What I enjoy most about the show was that it was National SAG doing the voting.
New York had, and has had, winners.
What that proves is that we might disagree about how to run the union but when it comes to expressing our love for talent there are no divisional fights.
Great show. Great talent. Great union.
That Betty White…Love her…LOVE HER!
This 2010 SAG Awards show made me proud to be a SAG member again!!!
Ken Howard has tremendous class and statemanship! TERRIFIC!!!
