She got her start in the 1930s. David O. Selznick saw her screen test, and made her a star…later marrying her. She was 1943′s Best Actress Oscar Winner for “Song of Bernadette.” Later in life she ran the Norton Simon Museum of Art in Pasadena. Jones died this morning in Malibu, according to the museum. [...]
